Mysterious 2,000 Year Old Podium Found Near Temple Mount In City Of David

~!~ A mysterious podium has been found in the ruins of ancient Jerusalem // The pyramidal structure has a small set of stairs // As per researchers, the staircase is made of finely cut rectangular stones // (ukcanadaus) 

 ~!~ The authority announced on Monday that the staircase is almost 2,000 year old, and is constructed using large ashlar stones, which are finely cut in rectangular shape // (ukcanadaus) 

~!~ As per reports, the structure was unveiled during an excavation of an ancient roadway ascending from the Siloam Pool to the Temple Mount, carried out in coordination with the Israel Nature and Parks Authority and the Ir David Foundation //  (ukcanadaus)
