By CASSANDRA TALOMA LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL It’s beginning to feel a lot like Las Vegas, triple-digit weather and all. The National Weather Service predicts Saturday’s temperature will reach up to 101 degrees by mid-afternoon. We don’t have too much going on, just heat, meteorologist Stan Czyzyk said. Light and variable south winds will breeze through the Las Vegas valley until the weather starts to cool down to 78 degrees in the evening. Look for shade, keep hydrated and make sure to apply some sunscreen because Sunday looks like it will be the hottest day yet. Temperatures could reach a high of 104 degrees, tying a record set in 2002, Czyzyk said. It may be hot Sunday, but the weather service does predict south winds and gusts up to 20 mph.
